What We Collect

When you use CancunAI, we collect anonymised browsing signals — including pages visited, time spent on pages, and general search behaviour. If you opt in to our feedback program, we also collect your ratings of AI-generated content. We do not collect passwords, financial credentials, private messages, or any sensitive personal information.

Waitlist Data

When you join the waitlist, we collect only your email address. This is used solely to notify you when early access opens and to send product updates. We do not share your email with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How We Use It

Browsing and feedback data is aggregated, anonymised, and supplied to AI companies, research organisations, and ML labs to help train and improve their models. Your data is never sold with personally identifiable information attached. It is processed in bulk alongside thousands of other contributors.

Your Consent

You explicitly opt in to every category of data collection when you install the CancunAI extension. You can pause or permanently stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the extension. Uninstalling immediately halts all data transmission.

Data Storage

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Behavioural data is anonymised at the point of collection before it reaches our servers. We retain anonymised data for up to 24 months. Waitlist and account data is retained until you request deletion.

Third Parties

We work with AI companies, research institutions, and ML labs as data buyers. These parties receive only anonymised, aggregated datasets — never your name, email, or any identifying information. We do not share your data with advertisers under any circumstances.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users before they take effect.

1. The Service

CancunAI is a data contribution platform. Users join a waitlist, and upon launch, install a browser extension to contribute anonymised behavioural and feedback data. In return, they earn points that may convert to real-world value depending on revenue generated from data buyers. The platform is currently in the waitlist stage — no extension is active yet.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use CancunAI. By joining the waitlist or installing the extension, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Points & Rewards

Points are awarded for verified data contributions — including browsing activity, AI feedback tasks, and referrals. Points have no guaranteed monetary value and do not constitute a promise of payment. Reward payouts — if and when available — are funded entirely by revenue received from third-party AI companies and data buyers. CancunAI makes no commitment to a fixed reward rate, payout schedule, or minimum earnings. The value of points may change as the platform evolves.

4. No Guaranteed Earnings

CancunAI does not guarantee any level of income or earnings. Any figures shown on the website — including estimated quarterly earnings — are illustrative projections based on assumed usage and are not promises of actual returns. Actual payouts depend on data buyer demand, contribution quality, and platform revenue at the time of withdrawal.

5. Withdrawals & Crypto Payments

When available, withdrawals are processed in cryptocurrency — including USDT and other supported tokens. Withdrawals are subject to a minimum threshold before they can be triggered. CancunAI is not responsible for delays, losses, or errors caused by blockchain network conditions, wallet incompatibility, or user-provided address errors. All crypto transactions are final and non-reversible.

6. Referral Program

Users who refer others via their personal share link may earn bonus points when those referrals join and contribute. Referral rewards are subject to the same conditions as all other point earnings — they carry no guaranteed cash value and are paid out from platform revenue only. Referral abuse, including self-referral or fake account creation, will result in forfeiture of all accumulated points and account termination.

7. Data Contribution

By using CancunAI, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to anonymise, aggregate, and supply your contributed data to third-party buyers. You retain no ownership claims over anonymised data once it has been processed and delivered. You may withdraw from data collection at any time by uninstalling the extension.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not attempt to manipulate, falsify, or automate data contributions. Any detected abuse — including bot activity, VPN manipulation, or artificial inflation of contribution metrics — will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of accumulated points.

9. Termination

CancunAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its discretion, particularly in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms. Users may request account closure by contacting us at [email protected].

10. Limitation of Liability

CancunAI is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding uptime, data buyer availability, or reward continuity. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CancunAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where CancunAI is registered. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings are initiated.
